There's been talk about a second Simpsons Movie! There were already signs in the movie itself, with Maggie's first word being "Sequel", and in the serie, the seasons opening theme of the first episode after the movie saw Bart writing "I will not wait another twenty years before making a movie" on the chalk board. Matt Groening confirmed there would be a sequel, but had no idea when mostly because his colleagues are lazy, he said. Further more Al Jean, executive producer and show runner on "The Simpsons", said it would not come soon and had this to say: "We would only do a sequel if we believed it was a movie that had to be made, just like we did with the first one. We wouldn't want to do it just because the first one was successful, or because we wanted to make money off of a movie. We'd only do it if we had a script that we thought was great [and] there's no script at this point."Hey, we don't care, we're just happy there will be one, we will wait!
