In my humble opinion Tim Burton is an effing genius! And "The Nightmare Before Christmas" is like crazy awesome, I mean it's suited for children, but the story is so fantasticly beautiful.. And then of course the music! The music is enchanting and a real miracle that shows of the talent of Danny Elfman.
And it seems I'm not alone in my opinion because a great number of artists were inspired by the movie and its songs, so they made a cover album. I don't think they're as great as the originals, but they're are some nice pieces that everyone can enjoy!
