Mijn verjaardag, ja vandaag, was weer wat anders dan de andere jaren, niet alleen werd ik een jaar ouder zoals altijd, 19 dit jaar, wat me officieel oud maakt en in mijn hoofd, volgens eigen voorspelling, heb ik dan nog 10 jaar te leven, maar ik heb me ook laten dopen door de KUBA, de studentenvereniging van de rechten aan de KUB. Doop was leuk, veel minder erg dan ik verwacht had. En nu ja, sociale voordelen, want niets schept een band als bezorgd zijn om elkaar.

Zany frontman Wayne Coyne of commercial alt-rock outfit The Flaming Lips has constructed what may be the world first double-neck, double-function Guitar Hero guitar. It's one half genuine guitar, one quarter Guitar Hero guitar controller and one quarter Korg Kaoscillator, making for a cute little noisemaker that you might just see at an upcoming show. While filming jingle promos for NBC, Coyne told Entertainment Weekly what it is and why he made it.
"I've constructed this great looking Guitar Hero double-neck guitar thing here," Coyne says, smarmily, "because there's a lot of kids out there that actually think this is how you play guitar now, that you just press a series of four or five buttons and... it makes every sound the guitar can make."

Christoph Niemann is an American illustrator, he made several drawings for The New Yorker, but made a lot of other drawings, which are pretty original and to the point, he also made a children's book called "The Pet Dragon" (see drawing above).
In my humble opinion Tim Burton is an effing genius! And "The Nightmare Before Christmas" is like crazy awesome, I mean it's suited for children, but the story is so fantasticly beautiful.. And then of course the music! The music is enchanting and a real miracle that shows of the talent of Danny Elfman.
Apparament il est presque deux semaines déjà mort, mais je l'ai que su aujourd'hui, Marc Moulin était une grande source de talent musical. Non seulement est il le fondateur de Telex, mais son influence touchait plusieurs cotés du monde musical, il est par exemple aussi un des idoles de Brian Molko de Placebo. Il jouera à partir de maintenant sa chanson "#1 Song in Heaven" sur place.

Woensdag had ik geen les (jeej) want het was de dag van de student in Brussel, er waren allerlei activiteiten in de stad, maar daar ging ik niet heen natuurlijk. Ik was eigenlijk tot de laatste minuut niet van plan te gaan, maar dan ging ik toch maar met mijn maatje van de panoramix' blog, Sound Of Stereo is toch een te grote verleiding. Eenmaal in Brussel mochten we een uur op de bus wachten, dus maar wat gedronken om het warm te krijgen. Daarna richting Fuse, nog even wat klasgenootjes gezien, daar was het eerst wat kalm, maar later echt fijn, Sound Of Stereo was echt zalig, en ook met de gasten van Geht's Noch? gebabbeld, die Dries kende via Panoramix, en we kregen gratis stickers (jeej)!
