A Brand, Malibu Stacy And The SUBS!!

Hoera voor Lennert, Lennert zijn tante en gewoon ook voor muziek! Want ik ben (alweer) naar een optreden geweest, alweer in de Botanique en het was alweer FANTASTISCH! Zoals je al zag in de titel traden drie artiesten op dinsdag in de Orangerie, A Brand begon deze geweldige avond, en ondanks het feit dat ik hun nieuwe album niet zo geweldig vind, genoot ik toch zeer van hun optreden, het enthousiasme die ze een viertal jaar geleden hadden is precies toch wat weg en dat vind ik toch wel zeer spijtig. Zo reageerden ze nogal overdreven op wat Waalse idioten die vooraan stonden, toegegeven ze waren irritant maar een echte rockband slaat die in hun gezicht zonder ooit de gitaar te lossen.(Dit is hoe A Brand hoort te zijn)

Next up was Malibu Stacy, deze zijn Waalse indierockers, en ik had al vaak naar hun liederen van de cd "G" geluisterd en vond deze gasten dan ook niet slecht, het optreden was wat ik had verwacht niet meer of niet minder. De zanger is wel een übernerd, maar hij kan verbazend goed Engels voor een Franstalige!

En dan le moment supreme, althans voor mij, THE SUBS!! Ik had ze wel al eerder gezien, maar deze kerels zijn zo zalig, je kan ze niet genoeg gezien hebben. En ja hoor, zelfs met tegenwerkend apparatuur creeerden zij een feestje en kregen zij het geringe makke publiek toch aan het dansen. Eén woord: ZALIG!(zei ik btw ook in een interview)
