A cinematic triptych of three Tokyo-set stories.

I'm not sure what to make of TOKYO!, but it certainly seems intriguing.The fantasy in three movements features segments from visionary directors Michel Gondry (THE ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND), Leos Carax (POLA X) and Bong Joon-ho (THE HOST).

Afro Samurai!

I still don't have a PS3 or any next gen crap, but I have to admit this looks cool. I mean a black samurai..it's worth a view..

The hero is a black samurai in a futuristic-feudal Japan whose nemesis is for all intents and purposes a charming undead cowboy. Monks with robots and guns and prosthetic arms join the fun. Throw in names like Ron Perlman, Kelly Hu, and Samuel L. Jackson and Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA that add voices to the games characters.




And the funny thing is every will just have this in mind, the whole time they're playing...

The Inbetweeners.

The Inbetweeners is a British comedy series about a group of teenage friends, who are not cool enough to be popular and not geeky enough to be a nerd, therefore being a group inbetween, forming a social class know as the inbetweeners. The show's really good and funny, it's also very real, I mean the situations are recognisable. Even more when you were kind of an inbetweener yourself. So just check it, you can watch the first series here.
