Bday

Since I've turned sixteen four summers ago, I've never been a big fan of birthdays anymore. Instead of thinking about presents and shiny new stuff, I just spend days thinking 'bout I'm again a year older and that it seams like I'm standing still. My parents were married at my age, not with eachother but hey! And shit, another shitty detail, I can't call myself a teenager anymore, if I call myself a kid now I'll just be like those guys from Blink 182, creepy tweeners that won't grow up. So again on paper I'm a year older, and I'm ready for another year, even though the enthusiasm is lacking. But in my world, which is my head, I'm young and indestructible. Enough time left to make it... But still better hurry, no?

Dentist

I went to the dentist this week, luckily he said none of the above. My teeth are still a-okay, haven't had anything bad happen to them, except we came to the shocking discovery I might still have a milk tooth, which might mean that there's no replacement for that one, so once he drops I'll have a hole. If you know me, you'll also know that my immediate reaction was: "So I can put a gold tooth in?"

A-Team 2.0

Le nouveau A-Team est arrivé. The classic 80s show turned into movies has it stars. And what a crazy bunch they are, you should know Liam Neeson, amazing actor and has played in a Star Wars movie so he's okay in my book! Then there's Bradley Cooper, the pretty boy, you'll recognize him from The Hangover if you're a man, and He's Just Not That Into You if you're a girl. His pretty face is perfect for 'Face'. If you've seen District 9, and if you have not you should, you'll probably also see that there's another familiar face, Wikus Van De Merwe, or Sharlto Copley. I loved him in District 9, so I'll probably love him in this, he's just so loveable. B.A. will be played to an unknown actor to me and the most of the rest of the world. But just some info, he's a ultimate fighter of some kind and a jailhound. Can't wait for this to come, even though it's probably gonna be shit like every other take on a tv series from the past.

It seems social networking sites make people even more stupid, it sucks away intelligence. Then again most of the people on there are American, so there wasn't a lot to suck away, still it's nice for us to enjoy what stupidities are written on let's say Facebook. And thank God Lamebook collects them for us.

Deze neger komt op 8!

Op de nieuwe zender 8, die buitengewoon geweldig is, spelen ze nu een miniserie 'SuperAcht' tussen de gewone programmering door. De serie gaat over een aspirant-regisseur genaamd Bert, maar in voorbereiding tot zijn script wordt opgepikt werkt hij in een videotheek. Vaak komt zijn dikke vriend ook langs, en met de vele bv's en gekke personages die in de winkel passeren zijn er ook gekke avonturen genoeg. Steeds verwijzend naar moderne cultuur, en zeer bekende films. Deze serie bewijst hoe vindingrijkheid en humor geslaagd gebundeld worden in zo'n 5 minuten tijd, en dat 8 echt wel de beste zender op tv is nu.
